Kristen Holmen, RMT
Kristen obtained her 2200hr Massage Therapy Diploma through Mount Royal University in 2022. She prioritizes assessing each client’s condition and tailoring sessions to meet individual needs. Kristen is passionate about enhancing sports performance, preventing injuries, and supporting recovery.

Kristen has a deep appreciation for mobility, strength, and body awareness as she grew up practicing gymnastics and martial arts. Having dealt with injuries that had impacted her own mobility in the past, she is committed to helping others reduce the risk of injury and regain optimal function post-injury through therapeutic massage.

In addition to her massage training, Kristen completed a certificate in Assisted Stretching and has used this knowledge to work with a wide range of clients at Calgary's Stretch Lab. She enjoys incorporating passive and active stretching techniques into her massage treatments to complement her hands-on work and support functional movement.

Kristen has found success improving sports performance for athletes in various activities including golf, hockey, and dance. She also works with clients managing a wide variety of conditions, which include: muscle tension and postural imbalances, chronic pain involving back, neck, and shoulder discomfort, tension headaches, sciatica, repetitive strain injuries, sports-related injuries, joint stiffness, reduced range of motion, as well as stress and anxiety-related tension.

Kristen’s approach to massage therapy is intentional and goal-oriented. She believes every session should be meaningful and with a clear purpose to work towards her clients' short and long-term goals.
